What is Bloom Nutrition Greens

Bloom Nutrition Greens, a greens-and superfoods powder, helps women to reduce bloating and improve digestion. It also boosts immunity and promotes overall wellness.

Bloom Nutrition Green Powder comprises more than 30 ingredients, including organic fruits, vegetables, fibres, probiotics and antioxidants.

Bloom Nutrition Greens & Superfoods, with just one scoop a week, is a convenient way to consume fruits, vegetables and other nutrients.

Bloom Nutrition Greens is available in five different flavours and does not have the grassy taste of other greens powders.

Bloom Nutrition Greens also claims to be dairy-free and soy-free. It is manufactured in an environment that also processes dairy and nuts.

Is Bloom Nutrition Greens FDA-Approved?

Bloom Nutrition Greens does not have FDA approval because the FDA does not regulate or approve nutritional supplements. It is made in an FDA-approved, GMP-certified facility.

Use an electric mixer to combine your greens powder and your favourite beverage.

Caroline Igo/CNET

Bloom Nutrition was founded by a married pair in 2019. They wanted to create high-quality health supplements that tasted good.

Bloom Nutrition offers greens powders, collagen peptides, whey protein isolate, high-energy pre-workouts, matcha, mood-lift vitamins, fish oils, and multivitamins.

In this review, I tested only Bloom’s Greens & Superfoods Blend. The powder is free of gluten, dairy products and soy.

Green is a 5-gram scoop that contains 15 calories. It also contains 3 grams of carbohydrates and 5 mg of sodium. The powder contains seven different blends containing various nutrients. The powder contains:

  • 1,606 g of fibre.
  • 1,367 g of green superfood.
  • 648 mcg of pre and probiotics.
  • 572 mcg of fruit and vegetable.
  • 550 mcg of antioxidants.
  • 150 mcg of digestive enzyme.
  • 100 mcg of adaptogenic.

The greens contain between 57 and 95 milligrams of stevia extraction, depending on the flavour.

How much does Bloom cost?

A 30-day tub costs 40, and a 60-day tub costs 80. This price does not include shipping. Orders over $50 will receive free shipping to any US destination.

Flavour and texture

I tried Bloom’s original and citrus flavours.

Caroline Igo/CNET

The flavoured Bloom Greens & Superfoods Powder is sweet. The citrus flavour is far superior to the original. The original flavour was too earthy when I tried it with just water. The citrus flavour tasted better but was too sweet for me.

I tried several different ways to drink Bloom Greens and found that adding it to orange-flavoured juice was the best. The powdered greens that I enjoy every morning only require water.

One little scoop contains a lot of extracted stevia, and since I wouldn’t say I like the sweetness of it, I wanted to find a way to mask that taste.

Whatever flavour you choose, it’s best to mix it with juice or a smoothie. It’s not possible to drink it just with water.

It’s a bit gritty but barely noticeable, depending on the liquid you mix with. You can use a small electric mixer or whisk to blend the mixture. If you don’t consume it within 5 minutes, the powder will separate. The powder and flavour were too concentrated at the end.

Does Bloom work?

Bloom is a product I need to familiarize myself with. I did not see any improvement in symptoms (but no worsening). Bloom Nutrition claims that it can help with bloating and digestive issues, but these claims have yet to be evaluated by the FDA.

The product was only tested for one week. I would have seen better results if I had tested it for longer. I didn’t also take it every day at the same time. Try to consume your powdered vegetables simultaneously each day for the best results.

Bloom may have the potential to be effective, but more than the doses of probiotics, minerals, vitamins and adaptogens that are included in the product is needed.

For example, the best probiotics contain 100 million to fifty billion colony-forming units. Bloom’s probiotics are not listed as CFUs. Bloom also has a 1,606-gram blend, but the amount of fibre listed is only 2 g — only 7% of the daily recommended amount.

Comparing Bloom to another famous powdered-greens brand, AG1 contains 7,388 mg of a superfood mix and 2,732 mg of a herb and antioxidant blend.

These two ingredients are nearly double the amount of Bloom. Two scoops are equal to one scoop in the competitor.

Lastly, on the backside of the Bloom Greens & Superfoods package, you will need help finding the amount of each ingredient.
